Government & External Affairs Lead

About the role

Roche Slovensko is looking for a Government & External Affairs Lead to join the Local Leadership Team. The role will shape national health policy, drive patient‑access strategies and represent OneRoche with key public and private stakeholders across Slovakia.

Key responsibilities

• Lead targeted policy advocacy to influence public health and pricing legislation, ensuring systemic improvements for patient access and innovation.
• Develop and maintain strategic relationships with political decision‑makers, payers and other national stakeholders.
• Serve as the primary external representative for OneRoche, building alliances and enhancing the company’s reputation.
• Manage the External Engagement Strategy, aligning it with patient‑access goals across Pharma, Diagnostics and the broader Roche enterprise.
• Participate in the Purpose Enabling Board, linking Health System Shaping objectives to the affiliate strategy.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years experience in Government & External Affairs and at least 7 years in the Slovak health‑care sector.
• Proven track record in policy development, network building and navigating complex legislative environments.
• Master’s degree in Medicine, Law, Health Economics or a related field.
• Fluent Slovak and proficient English.
