General Ledger Accountant – Statutory & Tax Reporting

About the role

You will join IQVIA's global financial shared services centre, supporting worldwide operations and reporting to the US parent company. The role focuses on ensuring compliance with US GAAP, internal policies, and statutory accounting for legal entities.

Key responsibilities

• Support month‑end and statutory processes, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
• Prepare and review journal entries, accruals, provisions, and account reconciliations.
• Maintain accounting records for audits and perform SOX control reviews.
• Assist in statutory financial statement preparation and corporation tax reporting.
• Participate in local projects, implement changes, and support onboarding of new countries to the shared services centre.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree with at least 3 years of general ledger accounting experience, preferably in a shared‑services or international environment.
• Strong communication skills in English, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
• Customer‑service orientation and commitment to delivering quality results under tight deadlines.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Technical accounting knowledge, including US GAAP and statutory reporting.
