General Ledger Accountant I

About the role

Dentsply Sirona is looking for a General Ledger Accountant I to join its newly established Shared Services Center in Bratislava. The role supports daily accounting operations, ensures accurate financial records, and contributes to month‑end and year‑end closing activities.

Key responsibilities

• Reconcile vendor, customer and general ledger accounts in line with company policies.
• Perform bank account, inventory and sales reconciliations.
• Clean‑up accounts and maintain fixed assets, including depreciation runs.
• Prepare and post manual journal entries, exchange‑rate, loan‑interest and royalty entries.
• Analyse month‑end and year‑end close reports and support special projects.

Required profile

• At least 1 year of experience as an accounting analyst or specialist; SSC experience is a plus.
• Working knowledge of current Windows, Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively at all organisational levels.
• Motivated self‑starter with solid organisational and multi‑tasking abilities.
• Proven ability to meet deadlines.
