Full Stack Engineer

About the role

Join Cisco's Webex Engineering Group in Bratislava as a Full Stack Engineer. You will help design, build, and maintain end‑to‑end software features that power industry‑leading collaboration products such as Webex Meetings and Webex Calling. The role offers a hybrid work model, allowing you to collaborate on‑site and remotely while contributing to a global partner network.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain full‑stack features, from responsive Angular front‑ends to high‑performance Java, Node.js, or Python microservices.
• Develop and integrate RESTful APIs, ensuring scalability and reliability across distributed systems.
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including design discussions, code reviews, testing, and deployment.
• Improve system performance, observability, and reliability using modern monitoring tools.
• Leverage AI‑assisted coding tools such as GitHub Copilot and Cursor to accelerate development.
• Collaborate closely with product management, SRE, and DevOps teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 3+ years of professional software engineering experience or equivalent project experience.
• Strong foundation in full‑stack development and production‑grade software environments.
• Ability to quickly learn new technologies and solve complex technical challenges.
