Frontend Engineer

About the role

Join Cisco's Webex Engineering Group in Bratislava as a Frontend Engineer. You will help create immersive, high‑performance collaboration experiences across Webex products, working in a hybrid environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain responsive frontend components using Angular, HTML5, and CSS3.
• Collaborate with senior engineers to build scalable micro‑services with Java, Node.js, or Python.
• Integrate RESTful APIs and ensure seamless interaction between frontend and backend.
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle: design discussions, code reviews, testing, and deployment.
• Improve system performance, reliability, and observability across the stack.
• Leverage AI‑assisted coding tools such as GitHub Copilot and Cursor to accelerate development.
• Work closely with product management, SRE, and DevOps teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
• 3+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong foundation in full‑stack development and production environments.
• Ability to learn new technologies quickly and solve complex technical problems.
