Food and Beverage Specialist

About the role

The Food and Beverage Specialist will work on‑site at Šimák Zámok Pezinok, overseeing daily food and beverage operations across restaurants, bars and event spaces. The role focuses on delivering high‑quality presentation, hygiene and guest experience while supporting the historic venue’s premium hospitality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate service in restaurants, bars and event areas, ensuring smooth operations.
• Take and serve orders, advise guests on menu and beverage selections.
• Collaborate with the culinary team to maintain effective kitchen‑service communication.
• Monitor inventory, support ordering and stock rotation, and manage banquet setup and breakdown.
• Handle guest inquiries and feedback professionally, adhering to safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Maintain high standards of presentation, hygiene and overall guest experience.

Required profile

• Strong food service and beverage knowledge with experience in restaurant, hotel or event catering environments.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills, with a professional and welcoming demeanor.
• Practical culinary understanding of menu offerings, ingredients and basic preparation methods.
• Attention to detail, commitment to hygiene, safety and quality standards.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and in a fast‑paced hospitality setting.
• Previous experience in hotel, fine dining or banquet service is highly beneficial; wine and beverage knowledge is a plus.
