Financial Controller

About the role

Join Lear, a global automotive technology leader, as a Financial Controller supporting plant-level finance operations. You will work closely with the Plant Controller and Finance Manager to ensure accurate reporting, compliance, and effective financial management.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Plant Controller with corporate and internal reporting, ensuring timetables, financial integrity and completeness.
• Perform SOX compliance testing and present findings to the Financial Manager.
• Prepare budgets, short‑term forecasts, profit & loss statements, cash‑flow projections and balance‑sheet analyses.
• Manage key KPIs such as Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable aging.
• Conduct balance‑sheet reconciliations and reserve calculations.
• Lead month‑end close processes, including variance analysis.
• Coordinate with external auditors for year‑end and interim audits.
• Support special finance projects and automation initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration or related field.
• 3‑5 years of experience in financial controlling, preferably in a manufacturing or automotive environment.
• Proven experience with financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, month‑end/year‑end closing, and balance‑sheet reconciliations.
• Hands‑on experience with SOX compliance or internal controls.
