Field Sales Manager SK

About the role

Nestlé is looking for an experienced Field Sales Manager for Slovakia to lead a large field sales team, drive commercial results and expand distribution of its brands across the market.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, develop and motivate a team of regional sales managers, sales representatives and merchandisers (approximately 100 people).
• Design and execute field sales strategies to meet sales and distribution targets.
• Manage sales KPIs, distribution metrics and the efficiency of commercial activities.
• Oversee sales and merchandising processes across Slovak regions.
• Analyze market trends, competitor actions and identify new business opportunities.
• Collaborate with Key Accounts, Marketing, CDT and Supply Chain to ensure effective execution of commercial plans.
• Control budgets related to sales and merchandising activities.
• Promote the use of modern technologies and digital tools in sales operations.
• Develop talent, succession planning and career growth for team members.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience leading a sales team in the FMCG sector.
• Proven track record in sales and distribution performance.
• Strong understanding of sales channels, customer needs and field sales dynamics.
• Strategic thinking, planning and decision‑making abilities.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to motivate people and develop their potential.
• Communicative level of English.
• Advanced digital competence and interest in modern tech solutions.
• Valid driver’s licence (category B) and willingness to travel throughout Slovakia.
