Expert Artificial Intelligence / Machine Learning Engineer

About the role

Ciklum is seeking an Expert Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning Engineer to join its Slovakia hub. You will be part of a cross‑functional team building and scaling an internal AI platform that serves both developers and non‑technical users across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and host internal AI platforms, custom skills, MCP connectors, and agentic workflows.
• Architect and manage scalable cloud environments (AWS, GCP, or Azure) for AI tooling and model endpoints.
• Apply rigorous AI security practices, including credential management, least‑privilege access, and prompt‑injection defenses.
• Create multi‑agent execution loops and orchestration pipelines to automate complex business tasks.
• Implement token‑cost controls, semantic caching, and model routing while defining governance standards.

Required profile

• 10+ years of professional software development with strong backend architecture experience.
• Proven track record delivering production AI tooling, custom skills, and agentic workflows.
• Deep practical understanding of AI security risks and mitigation strategies.
• Demonstrated ability to coach engineering teams through AI adoption and align initiatives with business outcomes.
