Engineering Manager

About the role

We are looking for an Engineering Manager to lead the development and industrialisation of automotive roof systems at Inalfa Roof Systems. You will head a multidisciplinary team of engineers, reporting directly to the Director of Engineering, and ensure delivery of projects aligned with R&D and business goals.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the development and industrialisation of automotive roof systems.
• Manage engineering capacity, resource planning and departmental budgets.
• Guide teams to meet project, quality, timing and cost targets.
• Conduct performance reviews and support employee development.
• Maintain key customer relationships and ensure satisfaction.
• Identify project risks and implement mitigation plans.
• Support global standardisation and engineering excellence initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical, Automotive, Mechatronics or related field.
• Minimum 10 years experience in automotive OEM/Tier‑1 or similar industry.
• Proven experience leading engineering teams in an international environment.
• Strong knowledge of automotive product development and industrialisation processes.
• Excellent leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Fluent in English; German is a plus.
