Electrical Design Engineer

About the role

We are looking for an Electrical Design Engineer based in Nové Mesto nad Váhom. The role develops electrical designs for standard and special units, ensuring quality, environmental compliance and cost‑effectiveness while collaborating with manufacturing, controls, procurement and suppliers.

Key responsibilities

• Work in a multi‑disciplinary engineering team on global products, focusing on high performance, cost‑effective design and market‑leading innovation.
• Design product electrical features and take direct responsibility for dimensioning principal parts or assemblies.
• Create and review product documentation, including drawings, specifications and bills of material.
• Develop design solutions for special products and support the costing process.
• Cooperate with Controls Engineering to produce controls connection guides.
• Co‑design with external suppliers and colleagues in different regions.
• Analyze and resolve technical issues related to assigned products.
• Meet cost, quality, environmental and schedule objectives, balancing market and internal customer needs.
• Travel as needed between the Italian headquarters and the Slovak production facility.

Required profile

• Technical university degree in electrical or electronic engineering.
• Minimum 2 years of electro‑design experience.
• Strong attention to detail and high‑level Electrical CAD proficiency.
• Experience with EMC and low‑voltage regulations (e.g., CE).
• Knowledge of international electrical regulations and standards.
