Digital Business Product Owner

About the role

Cat Digital, the digital and technology arm of Caterpillar Inc., is hiring a Digital Business Product Owner in Kosice, Slovakia. The role supports the Dealer Website, a digital platform that lets dealers consume centrally managed content from Cat.com while adding localized products, services and market-specific information. It works with the Cat.com ecosystem and collaborates with Cat.com engineering and product teams.

Key responsibilities

• Support prioritization and refinement of the product backlog, including defects, enhancements and new features.
• Turn business priorities, user insights and product objectives into clear features, requirements and acceptance criteria.
• Maintain backlog items and documentation in Azure DevOps.
• Work with Engineering, UX/UI, Product Management and stakeholders to deliver features and releases.
• Take part in discovery, backlog refinement, solution design, user acceptance testing and retrospectives.
• Gather requirements and feedback from users, dealers, stakeholders and support teams.
• Monitor delivery progress, risks, dependencies and adoption metrics, and give regular status updates.
• Help align related products and teams, and assist with release readiness, user communications, training and adoption.

Required profile

• Knowledge of business analysis, software change request management, software product business knowledge and software problem management.
• Strong collaboration and stakeholder management, and effective communication.
• Knowledge of User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Preferred: experience in agile Product Owner, Business Analyst, Product Manager or similar roles, and experience with digital product, operational, business analysis or transformation initiatives.
• Preferred: exposure to UI prototyping tools such as Figma, familiarity with Azure DevOps, Jira or Aha!, interest in emerging technologies such as generative AI, and PSPO I, CSPO or equivalent certification.

• Pay from 2,748 to 3,600 euros per month gross.
