DevOps Engineer – Industrial AI Cloud (NVIDIA Omniverse) + €5k Sign‑On Bonus

About the role

NVIDIA and Deutsche Telekom are jointly developing the world’s first industrial AI cloud for European manufacturers. The AI factory in Germany will host 10,000 GPUs across NVIDIA DGX B200 systems and RTX Pro Servers, while Deutsche Telekom provides secure, sovereign infrastructure and AI solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, implement and support ICT components and applications on the AI Cloud platform running NVIDIA Omniverse.
• Create and maintain CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure‑as‑Code solutions for continuous delivery.
• Automate, optimise and standardise processes to improve efficiency across the platform.
• Provide technical consultation, root‑cause analysis and support for pipeline runtime errors.
• Mentor colleagues, lead technical decisions and coordinate activities across related technologies.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 + years experience designing and delivering IaaS, PaaS or SaaS solutions.
• Hands‑on experience with GPU‑based infrastructure and NVIDIA Omniverse platforms.
• Strong communication skills in English (B2); German is a plus.
• Basic project‑management and leadership awareness.

Required skills

• Kubernetes container orchestration.
• Python and Bash scripting.
• Automation tools: Ansible, Salt‑stack, Terraform, Helm.
• Git, GitHub, GitLab and CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD).
• Linux operating systems.
• Monitoring and visualization: Grafana, Prometheus.
• Experience with GPU infrastructure and NVIDIA Omniverse.
• Knowledge of IaaS, PaaS, SaaS design principles.
