Cost Accountant

About the role

The Cost Accountant will be responsible for valuing material, work‑in‑process and finished goods, setting transfer prices, preparing reports and analysing cost variances.

Key responsibilities

• Valuation of inventory and timely provision of internal pricing.
• Support the preparation of monthly and annual financial statements.
• Costing of new make items using defined procedures.
• Provide transfer prices and assist with annual cost roll‑up and inventory counts.
• Communicate with other departments to resolve issues and prepare ad‑hoc reports and analyses.

Required profile

• Secondary education in accounting, economics, finance or related field (advantageous).
• Previous experience is a plus but not mandatory.
• Strong written and verbal communication in English and Slovak.
• High accuracy and attention to detail.

Required skills

• Advanced knowledge of MS Office.
• Understanding of purchasing, inventory and manufacturing processes.
• Knowledge of accounting processes.
