Compensation & Benefits Professional

About the role

Schaeffler is seeking a Compensation & Benefits Professional to act as the primary Total Rewards subject‑matter expert for the country. The role partners with regional and global teams, local HR, and business stakeholders to ensure competitive and effective compensation and benefits programs.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with regional/global Total Rewards teams and local HR to simplify and harmonise compensation schemes.
• Analyse internal and external data, calculate cost impacts, and develop implementation studies.
• Monitor local regulatory requirements for compensation and benefits and support related audits.
• Serve as an internal consultant for locations, providing end‑to‑end support.
• Drive process improvements, operational efficiency, and coordinate related projects.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Economics, Finance, Psychology or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of compensation and benefits experience, preferably including blue‑collar remuneration.
• Strong understanding of the local market, collective agreements and employee‑representative negotiations.
• Excellent English communication skills.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel (including macros).
• Power BI for data visualisation.
