Commercial Representative – Building Chemicals (Nitra Region)

About the role

Sika, a global specialty chemicals company, is looking for an experienced and proactive commercial representative for distribution sales in the Nitra region of Slovakia. The ideal candidate has experience in construction, preferably in building chemistry, and can build long-term partnerships with customers.

Key responsibilities

• Sell heating insulation systems, plastering and coating materials, waterproofing, adhesives and sealants, floor and sanitary materials across Slovakia
• Provide technical support to customers and sell the product portfolio in these areas
• Organise sales in the region and achieve set targets
• Maintain existing customers and actively seek new opportunities in western Slovakia
• Present products and services, prepare price offers, give technical advice and conduct site inspections
• Hold presentations, trainings and expert talks
• Monitor the market, competitors and customer payment discipline, and handle complaints
• Report on sales activities regularly and communicate environmental and safety aspects externally

Required profile

• Business and financial overview
• Active listening and strong communication skills
• Willingness to travel; category B driving licence
• English is an advantage; construction education and prior experience as a commercial representative are also advantages

• Gross salary from 2,000 to 2,800 EUR depending on experience, plus unlimited monthly commissions
