Calibration Laboratory Project Manager (Germany & Slovakia)

About the role

We are looking for a seasoned Calibration Specialist to lead the creation of a new Calibration Center serving our key plants in Germany and Slovakia. You will build the laboratory from the ground up, secure accreditation, and ensure the highest quality standards across all measurement tools.

Key responsibilities

• Design, equip and launch a state‑of‑the‑art calibration laboratory (technology, equipment, software).
• Obtain ISO/IEC 17025 accreditation and maintain compliance with IATF 16949.
• Develop and document calibration processes and methodologies for all measurement instruments.
• Manage logistics for calibration services and distribution to production sites.
• Lead, coach and expand a team of calibration technicians.
• Oversee budget, negotiate with suppliers and control project costs.

Required profile

• Strong management and organisational abilities.
• Deep knowledge of ISO/IEC 17025 and IATF 16949 standards.
• Higher education in Mechanical Engineering, Quality, Metrology or a related field.
• Intermediate proficiency in German or English (minimum B2).
• At least 3 years of experience in metrology or calibration roles.
• Willingness to travel regularly between Slovakia and Germany.
