Backfill IT Support Engineer – EUC/Deskside (EMEA)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced EUC/Deskside Support Engineer to join our EMEA team on a backfill basis. The role focuses on hands‑on desktop, hardware, and infrastructure support for end‑users across the region.

Key responsibilities

• Manage laptop stock, inventory, and asset tracking in ITSM platforms.
• Perform software installations, deployments, and profile archiving.
• Coordinate with Facilities for non‑network device setup.
• Troubleshoot end‑user devices, conference‑room equipment, and infrastructure issues.
• Support regional IT operations and ensure SLA compliance.

Required profile

• 3–4+ years of experience in IT Service Management, EUC, or Deskside Support.
• Strong stakeholder management and customer service skills.
• Excellent English communication and analytical abilities.

Required skills

• IT Service Management (ITSM) tools and processes.
• Desktop and End‑User Computing support.
• SCCM, Ivanti, Microsoft Intune for software deployment.
• Windows OS installation, configuration, patching, and troubleshooting.
• Network troubleshooting and remote support tools (RDP, iDRAC, iLO).
• Hardware assembly, sanitization, and maintenance (RAM, SSD, keyboards, motherboards, etc.).
• Conference‑room device support (Polycom, Cisco, StarLeaf, Microsoft Teams Rooms, touch panels, monitors, cameras, IP phones).
• Printer troubleshooting and file restoration.
• Antivirus, endpoint updates, and feature‑pack management.
• IT Asset Management and full laptop lifecycle handling.
• Understanding of ITIL Service Management processes.
