AI Sovereignty Consultant (ICT Consultant)

About the role

We are looking for an AI Consultant with deep expertise in AI sovereignty, data sovereignty and regulatory compliance to help customers in highly regulated sectors such as public administration, finance and healthcare. The role combines advisory work with hands‑on design and implementation of sovereign AI solutions that meet legal, security and operational requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Act as trusted advisor between delivery teams and customers, ensuring AI and data sovereignty requirements are addressed throughout solution design and rollout.
• Assess customer environments (cloud, hybrid, on‑prem) and define residency, access control, encryption, key‑management and auditability requirements for AI workloads.
• Design and implement AI governance frameworks covering model lifecycle, risk classification, documentation, approval workflows and audit readiness.
• Support the creation of compliant AI architectures (secure‑by‑design, privacy‑by‑design), including data pipelines, model hosting and MLOps/LLMOps operational models.
• Translate EU regulations (GDPR, NIS2, DORA, AI Act) into concrete controls such as monitoring, incident response, model drift detection and explainability.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity or related field.
• 3–6 years of consulting, architecture or security & compliance experience with customer‑facing responsibilities.
• Proven hands‑on delivery of AI/data platforms or governance/security controls in real environments.

Required skills

• Cloud platforms: Azure, AWS, GCP or sovereign/private cloud alternatives.
• Data‑sovereignty technologies: encryption, KMS/HSM, audit logging, data residency controls.
• Data‑governance concepts: classification, lineage, retention, DLP.
• AI operationalisation: MLOps, LLMOps.
