AI Software Engineer – Secure AI Solutions

About the role

ESET is building secure AI‑powered tools that help internal teams work faster, make better decisions and turn ideas into products. The team combines a young, ambitious spirit with cutting‑edge AI research to deliver reliable, responsible solutions for real business scenarios.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain secure AI‑powered tools, agents and services for internal use, leveraging large language models, prompt engineering and retrieval‑augmented generation.
• Develop Python‑based AI services and integrate them with company systems such as Jira, Teams, SharePoint, Confluence and internal APIs.
• Explore emerging AI technologies, prototype new approaches and share findings with the global developer community.

Required profile

• At least 1 year of practical Python development experience, including API work, scripting and data‑processing workflows.
• Hands‑on experience with generative AI, LLMs, prompt engineering, retrieval‑augmented generation and building agentic workflows.
• Familiarity with software‑engineering best practices (Git, code reviews, clean code, documentation).
• Basic knowledge of LLM application libraries (LangChain, LangGraph, OpenAI/Anthropic SDKs) and vector databases.
• Active English proficiency at B2 level or higher.
