Accountant – RTR Intercompany

About the role

Adient, a global leader in automotive seating, is looking for an Accountant – RTR Intercompany to join its Bratislava Business Centre. The role offers a hybrid working model with up to three remote days per week and involves managing intercompany financial flows across the group.

Key responsibilities

• Perform weekly and monthly reconciliation of intercompany accounts and resolve discrepancies in cooperation with plants.
• Analyse invoices, prepare payment proposals and handle cash application.
• Execute month‑end close activities, including accrual preparation and negotiation with plants.
• Investigate and resolve intercompany out‑of‑balance items and aged disputes to meet KPI targets.
• Prepare reports on intercompany activities and support projects aimed at standardising and optimising processes.

Required profile

• Financial education with 1‑2 years of accounting or finance experience, or a recent graduate with relevant training.
• Intermediate English proficiency and strong analytical thinking.
• Good time‑management and communication skills, with a team‑player attitude.

Required skills

• Basic SAP transaction knowledge.
• Intermediate Excel proficiency.
