Test Analyst – Technology Consulting (German Projects)

About the role

Join PwC's nearshore consulting team in Bratislava, supporting German financial services transformation projects. You will work on medium-to-large implementations for banks, insurers and investment firms, using AI tools to enhance testing activities.

Key responsibilities

• Design, execute and document manual and automated test cases.
• Create test plans, concepts and reports, and manage defect tracking.
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Java, C#, Python or BDD frameworks.
• Collaborate with project teams and communicate directly with clients.
• Lead smaller virtual teams and operate within ITIL environments.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Business Administration, Business Informatics or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of software testing experience, preferably in banking, insurance or financial services.
• Professional proficiency in German (B2‑C1) and English (C1).
• Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA, core system transformation or cloud migration is a strong advantage.
• ISTQB or comparable certification is a plus.

Required skills

• Testing tools: Azure Test Plans, Micro Focus ALM, Xray, Selenium, UI Path, SoapUI, Tricentis Tosca, Confluence.
• Scripting/automation: Java, C#, Python, Gherkin/BDD frameworks.
• Advanced MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
