Senior Building Performance Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Building Performance Engineer to join Siemens Smart Infrastructure’s Digitalization Engineering Center in Bratislava. The role focuses on optimizing energy management, HVAC, and smart‑building solutions for large‑scale customers across Europe.

Key responsibilities

• Identify building performance optimisation opportunities and trigger engineering or maintenance actions.
• Create event monitoring, basic rules and queries for customer systems and define action plans.
• Run building performance health‑check reports, document results and prepare improvement proposals.
• Collect, analyse and verify performance data, produce routine reports and track progress of improvement measures.
• Engage with internal stakeholders and support customer communication as needed.
• Own specific services, maintain related processes and documentation, and organise work within a sub‑team.
• Support training activities for the local team.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience in building technology such as HVAC or Energy Management.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to solve technical problems independently.
• Preventive‑maintenance mindset with a structured approach.
• Basic understanding of analytical and data‑evaluation techniques.
• Proactive attitude and willingness to develop further.
• Technical overview of IT and Building Management System (BMS) environments.
