Senior AI/Machine Learning Researcher

About the role

You will join the Incident Creator and AI Research team in Bratislava, focusing on detecting malicious activity by combining correlation rules with advanced machine‑learning models. The role involves researching, experimenting, and building state‑of‑the‑art models that evaluate security incidents from terabytes of behavioral data.

Key responsibilities

• Explore and assess cutting‑edge AI/ML techniques for incident detection, summarisation, and mitigation.
• Design and run large‑scale experiments on on‑premise and cloud data using in‑house GPU clusters.
• Collaborate with data collection, security operations, and software development teams to identify high‑impact AI use cases.
• Challenge existing solutions, drive technical discussions, and steer long‑term research direction.
• Mentor junior researchers and contribute to the team’s knowledge base.

Required profile

• Deep understanding of mathematical and statistical foundations of modern ML/AI.
• Hands‑on experience with neural‑network architectures, especially transformers.
• Proven ability to work independently across the full research lifecycle.
• Strong drive for continuous learning and staying up‑to‑date with state‑of‑the‑art research.
