Revenue Accountant – In Vitro Business

About the role

You will join Siemens Healthineers as a Revenue Accountant responsible for the full contract portfolio of the In Vitro business. The position focuses on ensuring accurate revenue recognition, maintaining the integrity of key financial figures, and supporting the finance team in delivering reliable reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Review and assess In Vitro/Diagnostics contracts in line with IFRS, LOGA and internal accounting principles.
• Record order entries and participate in the end‑to‑end revenue recognition process.
• Maintain and verify financial key figures such as order entry, backlog, revenue and costs.
• Collaborate with the Finance Head, Controlling, Accounting HUB and other internal teams to discuss business cases.
• Provide financial information to external auditors during quarter‑ and year‑end closings and discuss major changes in revenue, cost of goods sold and cash‑related positions.
• Conduct ad‑hoc analyses and contribute to continuous process improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in economics, management, accounting or a related field.
• Significant professional experience in revenue accounting or a comparable finance role.
• Strong understanding of commercial contract execution, value flows and key financial metrics.
• Familiarity with IFRS 15 and IFRS 16 accounting standards.
• Operational knowledge of SAP modules SD, CO, FI and preferably RAR.
