Field Service Engineer – DCS Systems (m/f/d)

About the role

We are looking for a Field Service Engineer to support migrations, upgrades, and troubleshooting of Honeywell DCS, SCADA, PLC and safety systems. The role involves on‑site and remote work in live production environments, ensuring reliable operation of control and safety platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and optimise Honeywell DCS (e.g., Experion PKS), SCADA, PLC and SIS/ESD platforms.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance, including health checks, backups, firmware and patch management.
• Support system expansions, software upgrades, controller migrations and site cut‑overs with testing and rollback plans.
• Configure control strategies, graphics/HMI, alarm management, historian data collection and basic field device integration.
• Apply cybersecurity hygiene: hardening, patching, access management and documentation aligned to OT standards.
• Document service records, test plans, MOCs and ensure compliance with safety, quality and regulatory requirements.
• Lead complex brownfield/greenfield DCS projects and multi‑system integrations.
• Guide safety lifecycle work (IEC 61511), FAT/SAT, proof testing and shutdown logic reviews.
• Mentor junior engineers and enforce best‑practice governance.

Required profile

• Proven experience with Honeywell DCS (Experion PKS, C300, ACE nodes) and related SCADA/PLC platforms.
• Strong background in SIS/ESD systems and safety lifecycle practices (IEC 61511).
• Ability to work under pressure, resolve systemic issues and communicate effectively with clients and cross‑functional teams.
