Client Compliance Officer

About the role

We are seeking an ambitious professional to join our Property & Casualty and Life & Health reinsurance compliance team across EMEA, with a focus on the United Kingdom. The role offers a hands‑on remit covering advisory, regulatory oversight, governance and project work in a dynamic international environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and continuously improve the compliance framework in line with external and internal requirements.
• Provide trusted advisory support on financial sanctions, financial crime and data protection risks.
• Monitor regulatory developments in EMEA and the UK, manage regulatory relationships and handle consultations, filings and supervisory interactions.
• Deliver compliance reporting to the Group Board and local committees, and support governance and senior leadership.
• Perform compliance risk assessments, deliver training and contribute to assurance activities.
• Collaborate with global compliance teams and support EMEA‑wide strategy and transformation initiatives.

Required profile

• University degree or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum 5 years of compliance experience, preferably in financial sanctions and reinsurance.
• Strong understanding of reinsurance regulatory requirements, especially in the UK market.
• Fluent English; additional languages are a plus.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks.
