UX/UI Designer

About the role

We are seeking a UX/UI Designer to shape intuitive, scalable, and impactful digital experiences across a portfolio of more than 150 web and mobile applications supporting reinsurance business functions. You will work closely with product owners, business experts, engineers, and fellow designers to translate complex business and technical challenges into user‑centred solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Drive the end‑to‑end design process from discovery through delivery for one or more products.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to create desirable, feasible, and viable solutions.
• Apply user research, usability testing, journey mapping, and other user‑centred practices to inform decisions.
• Produce user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high‑fidelity designs using Figma and the company design system.
• Ensure accessibility, interaction‑design consistency, and systems thinking across the product landscape.
• Contribute to product strategy by identifying user needs and opportunities.
• Work with engineering to guarantee design quality and successful implementation.
• Use data, analytics, and feedback to continuously improve experiences.
• Help evolve and govern a Figma‑based design system built on Google Material Design M2, creating reusable components, variants, and Auto Layout structures.

Required profile

• Proven track record designing high‑quality digital experiences.
• Creative problem‑solver comfortable with complex business, technical, and analytical challenges.
• Strong collaboration skills with product, business, and engineering stakeholders.
• Ability to balance user value, business objectives, and technical feasibility.

Required skills

• Figma (including Auto Layout, variables, variants, properties).
• Google Material Design (M2) and design‑system governance.
• User research, usability testing, journey mapping.
• Wireframing, prototyping, high‑fidelity visual design.
• Accessibility standards and interaction‑design principles.
