Network Security Engineer

About the role

We are hiring a Network Security Administrator in Bratislava. If cybersecurity is your thing and you want to work on infrastructure that actually matters, take a look. The position is with the National Center of Health Information (NCZI), a state‑operated organization supporting eHealth in Slovakia.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and configure security network elements (NGFW, WAF, load balancing)
• Identify vulnerabilities and roll out fixes/patches
• Analyze security incidents and track cybersecurity trends
• Work with vendors, contribute to documentation, and review change requests

Required profile

• 1+ years of experience in cybersecurity
• Experience with NGFW, WAF, load balancing, or DNS (at least some of these)
• Advanced Linux skills and solid understanding of the OSI model
• English proficiency at B2 level
