Technical Representative – Roofing & Waterproofing

About the role

Join Holcim’s Elevate Technical Center in Bratislava as a Technical Representative, providing on‑site technical support for roofing and waterproofing solutions across Eastern Europe, CIS and MEA.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver field services and technical assistance during project installations.
• Conduct inspections of flat‑roof waterproofing and pond liner systems to ensure compliance with guidelines.
• Analyse renovation possibilities, troubleshoot issues, handle warranty claims and issue reports.
• Perform calculations, system design, wind uplift assessments and prepare layout plans, quotations and bills of quantity.
• Lead seminars, presentations and training sessions for suppliers and contractors.
• Build roof and system mock‑ups for exhibitions and seminars.
• Support sales teams by answering technical queries and assisting contractors with product application.
• Review technical documents and contribute to the development of technical tools.

Required profile

• Secondary education with a university degree or higher professional education in Engineering or a related field.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
• Solid understanding of the construction industry or strong willingness to learn waterproofing solutions.
• Category B driving licence and willingness to travel across the region.
• Upper‑intermediate English (B2) or higher.

Required skills

• Proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Advanced use of Microsoft Office.
• Experience with Google Workspace.
