Senior Power BI Developer – BI Solutions Lead

About the role

Synpulse is looking for a Senior Power BI Developer to lead the technical evolution of its Management Information function. You will own end‑to‑end delivery of automated reporting solutions, drive Power BI adoption and translate complex data structures into strategic business insights.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and deploy complex BI solutions and interactive dashboards using Power BI Service.
• Translate business requirements into robust technical specifications and scalable data architectures.
• Design and optimise advanced data models (star/snowflake) and manage data transformations with Power Query (M).
• Evaluate and improve existing BI systems to ensure performance, accuracy and security.
• Partner with function leads to define KPIs and provide actionable insights.

Required profile

• 6+ years of experience in Business Intelligence or Data Analytics.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science or a related quantitative field.
• Professional English proficiency (C1 preferred, minimum B2).

Required skills

• Power BI, advanced DAX and Power Query (M) coding.
• SQL – data extraction, manipulation and performance tuning.
• Dimensional modelling, ETL/ELT processes and data‑warehousing concepts.
• Advanced Excel (Power Pivot, VBA a plus).
• Experience with Snowflake or Azure Synapse, Power Apps, Power Automate, Python or R.
• Agile methodologies (Scrum or Kanban).
