About the role

As a Senior Customer Experience Agent – Ocean, you will be the primary point of contact for a portfolio of ocean freight customers, ensuring their shipments are executed flawlessly and keeping them informed throughout the journey. This full‑time, on‑site position is based within Maersk’s dynamic logistics environment, where you will collaborate closely with internal teams to deliver high‑quality service.

Key responsibilities

• Own and manage the end‑to‑end customer experience for assigned ocean freight accounts.
• Proactively monitor shipments, ensuring compliance with Maersk procedures and transport plans.
• Communicate any deviations or issues to customers promptly and professionally.
• Build strong relationships with customers, understanding their business drivers and service needs.
• Coordinate deliveries and loadings, with a focus on rail and truck transport arrangements alongside the intermodal team.
• Stay up‑to‑date on local and international regulations, internal procedures, and product developments.
• Collaborate with One Team CS (GSC) to align transactional tasks and improve processes.

Required profile

• Senior‑level experience in customer experience or logistics within the shipping industry.
• Strong understanding of ocean freight processes and intermodal transport.
• Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills.
• Ability to work on‑site full time in a fast‑paced, results‑driven environment.
