Senior Business Analyst

About the role

Zurich Insurance is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to support the design, development, and implementation of operational and policy administration processes across its insurance value chain. The role bridges business needs and technology capabilities, working with international teams to deliver scalable solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Gather, analyse, and document business and operational requirements with stakeholders.
• Support the design and optimisation of policy administration and servicing processes.
• Translate business requirements into functional specifications for development teams.
• Collaborate with technology teams to ensure alignment between requirements and delivered solutions.
• Support testing activities (UAT), validate functionality and ensure operational readiness.
• Assist operational teams in documenting processes, procedures, and workflows.
• Contribute to change management, implementation planning and support.
• Identify improvement opportunities in existing processes and support their implementation.

Required profile

• University degree in Business Administration, Finance, Information Technology or related field.
• Experience in business analysis within insurance or financial services.
• Strong requirement‑gathering, documentation and stakeholder‑engagement skills.
• Good understanding of policy administration systems and operational workflows.
• Analytical thinking and problem‑solving capabilities.
• Ability to translate business needs into structured functional requirements.
• Fluency in English and ability to work in an international environment.
