Python Software Engineer - AI Security Platform (m/f/n)

About the role

You will join the AI and Automated Detection subdivision in Bratislava, building AI‑driven systems that defend against real‑world cyber threats at scale. The role focuses on backend services, machine‑learning pipelines, LLM‑powered agents and production security tooling.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain distributed backend services and processing pipelines in Python.
• Develop asynchronous, event‑driven and message‑based integrations using technologies such as FastAPI, Celery and Kafka.
• Work on one of three focus areas – Detection Systems, LiveAI, or SOAR Platform – to deliver AI‑driven threat detection, multi‑agent assistants or automated incident response.
• Own services throughout their lifecycle, from design and deployment to monitoring, troubleshooting and continuous improvement.
• Write clean, maintainable, production‑ready code and collaborate with security researchers, engineers and operators.

Required profile

• Strong software development experience with Python.
• Proven experience designing and developing backend services or distributed systems.
• Understanding of asynchronous programming and distributed task processing.
• Experience working with APIs, service integrations and relational databases (SQL).
• Ability to produce testable, maintainable code and follow modern development workflows.

• Basic salary starting from 2 900 EUR per month, with potential increase based on skills and experience.
