About the role

Otis is looking for a motivated Elevator Technology Designer to join its Bratislava office. You will create custom solutions for new elevators, escalators and modernization projects, using AutoCAD on a daily basis and seeing your designs become real installations.

Key responsibilities

• Design process and technical solutions for new elevators, escalators and moving walkways.
• Prepare documentation and cost‑estimate inputs for customer proposals.
• Provide technical consultation throughout the project lifecycle, from design to installation.
• Coordinate with manufacturing plants and internal teams to ensure design feasibility.
• Verify completeness and correctness of proposed solutions.
• Create detailed AutoCAD drawings for each project.

Required profile

• Secondary technical education (mechanical, electrical or civil engineering).
• Experience in elevator or escalator technology is a plus.
• Accuracy, independence, flexibility and clear communication skills.
• Strong command of written and technical English.
• Willingness to learn and develop professionally.

Required skills

• Proficient use of AutoCAD (primary design tool).
• Very good knowledge of MS Office.
