Project Engineer – Electrical Design & Controls

About the role

Eurochiller Srl, part of the Atlas Copco Group, is a leading European designer and manufacturer of customized chillers and thermoregulation units. The company is looking for a Project Engineer – Electrical Design based in Nitra, Slovakia, focusing on detailed design of electrical panels for chillers, compressors, dryers and more.

Key responsibilities

• Translate external designs into production‑ready solutions.
• Collaborate with international engineering teams and consult EPLAN projects.
• Release technical specifications, bills of materials and wire‑assembly documentation.
• Evaluate generic materials and identify alternatives such as wires, cable ducts and DIN rails.
• Coordinate prototype development and testing of control‑panel cubicles.
• Guide UL inspections and support production/service with control‑panel issues.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical or Electromechanical Engineering.
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
• Proactive learner comfortable with new tools and processes.
• Ability to set priorities and work independently.
• Fluent in English and Slovak.
• Team player with a passion for quality and innovation.
