Operational Excellence & Quality Manager

About the role

KONE Business Services is looking for a development‑minded Operational Excellence & Quality Manager to elevate its Quality, Audit, Internal Controls and Continuous Improvement (LEAN) agendas. The role will drive transformation of current processes, lead change initiatives and embed a culture of waste reduction and compliance across the global business services organization.

Key responsibilities

• Own the definition of continuous improvement and quality management standards, enabling teams to identify waste reduction, process optimisation and quality improvement opportunities.
• Develop and deliver organisation‑wide initiatives around continuous improvement, quality and compliance to enhance service quality, reduce waste and improve user experience.
• Educate and govern employees on LEAN (Six Sigma, UX) and quality management principles, tracking progress toward business targets.
• Coordinate and lead internal and external audits (LRQA, QMS, GMS) from kickoff to action closure, ensuring proper documentation and governance.

Required profile

• 5‑10 years of experience leading organisation‑wide transformations in quality, compliance and continuous improvement, preferably in a business services environment.
• Proven ability to lead and manage cross‑functional teams with strong interpersonal, intercultural and change‑management skills.
• Experience with operational processes, Six Sigma, LEAN, Kaizen and ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems.

Required skills

• Lean Six Sigma certification (Green minimum, Black preferred).
• ISO 9001 Internal Auditor or Lead Auditor certification.
• Audit coordination and internal controls expertise.
• Proficiency with data analysis tools, automation and AI technologies.
