Mobile Software Engineer

About the role

Join Cisco's Webex Engineering Group in Bratislava to design, implement, and maintain mobile features for industry‑leading collaboration products. You will work in a hybrid model, delivering high‑quality experiences for millions of users across iOS and Android platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement, and deliver end‑to‑end mobile application features for Webex products.
• Maintain and improve performance, reliability, battery usage, and accessibility of iOS and Android apps.
• Drive technical decisions for owned modules and contribute to shared mobile architecture.
• Debug complex issues such as crashes, memory leaks, and networking problems in production.
• Collaborate with backend engineers, product managers, UX designers, QA, and DevOps to ship seamless user experiences.

Required profile

• 3+ years of professional experience developing iOS or Android applications in production.
• Strong knowledge of Swift/Xcode or Kotlin/Java/Android Studio and related frameworks.
• Ability to work independently, communicate clearly, and thrive in a hybrid team environment.

• SwiftUI, UIKit, Jetpack Compose, Android Jetpack, Coroutines, Flow.
• MVVM, modular architecture, REST APIs, asynchronous programming.
• Unit testing, UI testing with XCTest, Espresso, JUnit, Mockito.
• Debugging tools: Xcode Instruments, Android Studio Profiler, Logcat, Firebase Crashlytics, Datadog, Splunk.
• CI/CD pipelines, Git, automated builds, release management.
• Performance optimization, memory management, offline support, caching, push notifications, secure mobile development.
• App store publishing for Apple App Store and Google Play, Microsoft Intune/MDM.
