Manufacturing Engineer – Banska Bystrica

About the role

3M is looking for a Manufacturing Engineer to join its Banska Bystrica plant in Slovakia. You will work on new product introductions and process improvements, collaborating with a global, innovative team.

Key responsibilities

• Lead improvement projects focused on manufacturing processes and new product launches.
• Develop and optimise standard work, SOPs, and work instructions (Dozuki).
• Apply lean manufacturing tools, 5S, and collaborative robot solutions.
• Support maintenance and engineering teams in diagnosing and enhancing machine performance.
• Coordinate with Environmental, Safety, and Health teams to maintain top‑class safety standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from an accredited institution.
• Fluent in English and Slovak (spoken and written).
• Experience in process engineering or a similar manufacturing role.
• Proven project‑management experience in interdisciplinary teams.
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing and Lean Six Sigma tools.
