Electronics Engineer – Expert (R&D)

About the role

Join our growing R&D team and help develop premium automotive lighting systems for some of the world's leading automotive brands. As an Electronics Engineer – Expert, you will work with the latest technologies and contribute to innovative international projects, transforming ideas into cutting‑edge automotive lighting solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Design PCB specifications with consideration of thermal resistance (Rth).
• Select and calculate LEDs based on project and customer requirements.
• Define system calibration parameters (current, LEDs, NTCs, binning, etc.).
• Design the electronic architecture of automotive lighting systems, including wiring harnesses and block diagrams.
• Create electronic schematics and PCB layouts.
• Support the preparation and execution of EMC testing activities.
• Analyze and translate customer technical requirements into electronic solutions.
• Prepare and present electronic concepts to internal teams and customers.
• Collaborate closely with suppliers, customers, and international project teams.
• Travel to customer and supplier locations when required.

Required profile

• Degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related technical field.
• Experience in electronic hardware development and PCB design.
• Knowledge of PCB design tools (e.g., Altium Designer, OrCAD, EAGLE or similar) is an advantage.
• Understanding of LED technology and electronic system architecture.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• English language proficiency (minimum B2).
• Team‑oriented mindset with excellent communication skills.
