Director of ABM (Corporate) – Continuous Improvement Leader

About the role

The Director, ABM (Corporate) will lead the implementation of ATS’s Business Model across the organization, driving continuous‑improvement, lean initiatives and goal deployment (Hoshin planning). This senior position reports to the SVP, ATS Business Model and requires extensive travel to support sites in North America and Europe.

Key responsibilities

• Promote and facilitate the ATS Business Model (ABM) throughout the company.
• Lead continuous‑improvement, lean, and growth‑specific actions across all functions.
• Design, develop and execute an ABM roadmap for operating businesses.
• Assess key business metrics from a general‑manager perspective and translate findings into actionable plans.
• Drive transactional process improvements and support sales, order processing, distributor management, CRM and ERP initiatives.
• Provide training, coaching and adult‑learning programs to embed lean methodologies.

Required profile

• 4‑8 years of operations, engineering, supervisory or management experience in a lean‑driven manufacturing environment.
• Four‑year engineering degree (electronics, electrical, mechanical or controls preferred); MBA or master’s degree is a plus.
• Proven ability to assess business metrics and design continuous‑improvement roadmaps.
• Strong communication skills, capable of influencing all organizational levels.
• Experience with lean tools, ABM methodologies and project‑time management.
