Category Manager

About the role

Wolt is looking for a proactive Category Manager to own the performance of assigned product categories across a country. You will shape the assortment, pricing and promotions while building strong supplier relationships to drive growth and profitability.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and continuously update the category assortment at store level to meet customer needs and optimise order economics.
• Own full category performance, including forecasting, monitoring, reporting and delivering on commercial targets.
• Lead negotiations with suppliers to set joint goals, improve cost structures and sustainably grow the P&L.
• Identify and drive strategic projects that enhance commercial performance and align with global OKRs.
• Collaborate cross‑functionally with in‑stock management, marketing, finance and retail systems teams.
• Automate manual processes to enable scaling of the category team.
• Act as the primary point of contact for global initiatives and ensure successful implementation.
• Drive ad sales and vendor revenue through effective use of tools and selling points.

Required profile

• Proven experience in grocery retail, key‑account management or consulting with a track record of delivering results.
• Strong background in category management and commercial strategy.
• Ability to lead projects, influence product design and improve customer experience.
• Excellent analytical mindset and data‑driven decision making.
