Category Manager

About the role

ATS Corporation is looking for an experienced Category Manager to shape and execute strategic sourcing solutions across its global supply chain. Working in a collaborative, multicultural environment, you will lead high‑impact negotiations, manage key international stakeholder relationships, and drive continuous cost optimisation.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement and govern comprehensive category procurement strategies aligned with long‑term business growth.
• Own total global spend for assigned material categories, using data analysis and benchmarking to deliver measurable savings.
• Evaluate, approve and manage relationships with global vendors, ensuring alignment with ATS objectives and ethical standards.
• Lead negotiations of framework agreements, covering pricing, commercial terms, discounts and rebates for complex projects.
• Partner with ATS divisions worldwide to tailor category strategies to specific business needs.
• Drive cost‑saving workshops and support technical VAVE initiatives with multidisciplinary teams.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for complex supply‑chain issues, ensuring clear ownership and resolution.

Required profile

• University degree in Procurement, Business Management, Engineering or a related discipline.
• 5–8 years of strategic sourcing and project‑management experience, preferably in a global environment.
