Business Performance Analyst

About the role

Join Zurich’s Planning & Performance team in Bratislava, working with Group Finance and Treasury to support financial reporting, KPI monitoring and strategic analysis for Zurich Group.

Key responsibilities

• Build and analyse financial models (Anaplan, Excel) to forecast and plan company performance.
• Collaborate with Group Finance teams on monthly Actual Close, Forecast and Plan submissions.
• Identify variances between actual and forecasted results, gather stakeholder input and develop narratives for business steering.
• Communicate complex financial results clearly to relevant stakeholders.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Finance, Mathematics or Business Administration (or equivalent).
• 3+ years experience in corporate finance, controlling, financial reporting or accounting.
• Understanding of corporate finance fundamentals and their application in strategic decisions.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.

Required skills

• Financial modelling in Anaplan and Excel.
• Data management, analytical and financial reporting.
• Task prioritisation and time management.
• CFA certification (advantage) and Anaplan model building (advantage).
