AVEVA System Platform Engineer – Wonderware

About the role

TechBiz Global is seeking an experienced AVEVA System Platform Engineer to join a leading industrial client in Bratislava. You will develop, configure, and maintain SCADA applications using Wonderware tools, supporting production and plant commissioning.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, configure, and maintain applications on AVEVA System Platform (InTouch, Application Server, Historian).
• Create and enhance HMI visualizations, scripts, and templates.
• Integrate and configure I/O servers, communication drivers (OPC UA/DA) and interfaces to MES/ERP systems.
• Perform fault analysis, troubleshooting, and system optimisation during production.
• Execute software updates, migrations, backups and document changes per quality standards.
• Collaborate closely with Production, Maintenance, and IT teams.
• Provide second‑level support for complex issues and participate in on‑call duties.

Required profile

• Proven experience with AVEVA System Platform / Wonderware.
• Strong knowledge of InTouch and Application Server.
• Hands‑on experience with SQL and VBScript.
• Understanding of industrial communication protocols; PLC programming knowledge is a plus.
• Fluent in Slovak and English; German is an advantage.
• Willingness to work early/late shifts and participate in on‑call rotation.
