HR Reporting Expert

About the role

Covestro is looking for an HR Reporting Expert in Bratislava. The role develops and optimizes HR reporting and analytics products while ensuring data quality standards across global HR operations. It acts as a subject matter expert in HR analytics and data governance, driving data-informed decisions through modern data structures.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement advanced HR reporting solutions and analytics dashboards, for example in Workday.
• Support the design and setup of underlying ETL processes and data modeling architectures for scalable reporting.
• Drive the development of global reporting standards and data quality frameworks.
• Implement automated data quality monitoring systems and remediation processes.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code workflows using GitHub, deploying reporting solutions into the AWS cloud.
• Translate business requirements into technical specifications with HR stakeholders and advise on complex data analysis and ad-hoc reports.
• Train HR end-users and lead the global Workday Report Writer Community and reporting initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Business Administration or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
• 5+ years of experience with reporting tools and database management, preferably including Workday (Report Writer, Calculated Fields, Security Framework).
• Proven experience implementing data governance frameworks and quality management systems.
• Knowledge of international data privacy regulations and compliance.

Required skills

• SQL and Python for data extraction and analysis.
• Data modeling and ETL/data pipeline design.
• Git/GitHub and infrastructure-as-code (e.g. Terraform, AWS CloudFormation).
• Advanced statistical analysis and visualization, expert Excel.
• Communication and stakeholder management.

The minimum base salary is 2300 EUR, higher depending on skills and experience. Applications include a cover letter, CV and relevant certificates.
